I had a tremendous diesel leak on late Sunday outside of Casper Wyoming. What do you do when stuck on the road on a Sunday? I was in trouble even though my Fleetwood Discovery was almost brand new. I luckily got a hold of Mike at his mobile repair phone and he was on site in less than 30 minutes. After having to disassemble part of the motor to get to the issue he diagnosed a broken injector tube. No parts were available until Monday morning so I dry camped the net morning. Turns out there was only one part available in the city. He tracked it down and brought it back to the site and finished the repair. He then recommended that I take it to a Cummins dealer in Casper to have them check the engine. I did so and after power washing the engine and diagnosing the issue with their computer they determined Mike had done a great job. I was on the road within another couple of hours. Mike was friendly and 100% competent. I could never thank him enough, especially when he charged me such a reasonable fee. Patriot Diesel is a great alternative to towing and simply a great mobile repair facility. Thanks again Mike!
4pm Fri night several weeks ago … both our front & rear air bags dropped to 50 and the engine warning came on in our 40′ diesel pusher as we pulled into our camp site in Casper. One mobile repairman was out of town until Mon. Another said he couldn’t fix it and we’d have to be towed to a truck repair shop. NOT Mike with Patriot Diesel Repair. He returned my call within 10 min, and came to us within 30. Found the problem right away … a loose bolt had pinched the O-ring to the air dryer. He immediately left to try to find the needed air dryer kit in town. No luck, but said he’d come back in the morning to take the O-ring to try to find a close match. A man of his word, he crawled under the coach in the morning, and drove several places. HE FOUND IT, installed it, PROBLEM SOLVED! What a professional! Thank you, Mike! Signed Bob and Kathy Beard.
